Our first real date started with drinks and appetizers at Arch City Tavern, then a stop next door for Jeni’s Ice Cream, we love their brambleberry flavor. We ended the night wandering through Victorian Village and Goodale Park… the same spot where Will proposed three years later.

Walk around the Columbus Museum of Art, where you can see works from around the world dating back to 1263. Admission is free on Sundays! After taking in the art, take a quick drive to Tip Top, Sarah’s favorite Columbus restaurant, known for their iconic roast beef sandwiches served on a soft pretzel bun.

Colin’s Coffee holds a special place in Sarah’s heart. She worked there for nearly six years, made lifelong friends, and is the best job she’s ever had. Owned by Columbus musician and local legend Colin Gawel, the shop is more than just a coffee spot. It helped shape Sarah into the person she is today. You can now visit their new location inside the Daily Growler from 7am-12pm.

Budd Dairy Food Hall is one of our faves and located right across the street from our venue! We love the drinks and food throughout the space. Sarah’s go-to is the pescado tacos from Tacos Rudos.

Located near the venue, Bada Bean Bada Booze is a coffee spot that serves great coffee by day and drinks by night. If you stop by their Italian Village location during the week, you might even catch a wild Will coworking among friends or listening to low-fi beats.
